The Maine Boat & Home Show

Show Highlights
Maine's boat show season draws thousands of recreational boaters, fishing enthusiasts, and waterfront dreamers eager to explore the region's thriving recreational marine culture. The event showcases the full spectrum of boats suited to Maine waters—from nimble kayaks and classic lobster boats to comfortable cruising sailboats and family-friendly fishing powerboats. Exhibitors range from local and regional boat builders to dealers offering the latest in marine electronics, safety gear, and waterfront lifestyle products. The atmosphere balances serious shopping intent with leisurely browsing, as visitors evaluate vessels for summer adventures, winter projects, or long-term ownership.
What draws crowds is the democratized access to boats and expertise that only happens in person. Families walk dock-side displays with children in tow, experienced skippers scrutinize hull construction and engine specs, and first-time boat buyers test the fit of cabin layouts.
